HTML was one of the first things that John Resig has mastered when he first started programming. Resig programmed in QBasic, when one of his friends showed him how to create a Web page (using Angelfire), as well as foundations HTML. His father gave him for Christmas two books on HTML. Just when he just started to program in Visual Basic, HTML and web design are very interested in it.
But the passion for JavaScript came much later, around 2004. Then Resig received a degree in computer science and worked part-time at a local firm Brand Logic. He was engaged in site design, which create a custom scrolling. John was disappointed and upset, especially because it used the code of other developers, then, decided to seriously consider JavaScript. Having arrived at the conclusion that JavaScript - a simple but elegant language, which is an incredibly powerful solution to many problems. Over the next couple of years D. Resig created a variety of JavaScript applications, before finishing the creation of jQuery. The library was presented to the public at a computer conference «BarCamp» in New York in 2006.
The main purpose of creating Resig jQuery saw the opportunity to encode multiple pieces of code that will simplify the JavaScript and use them so not to worry about cross-browser issues. Night in early 2006 Resig remember for life as lucky: he has finished work on jQuery and threw it in Internet Explorer - all earned. This was a success!
